Anybody know where I can find a bucket of steam and bottle of bulkhead remover?

Have you ever found yourself on mail buoy watch?
Ever been handed a kapok life vest and broom and told to fend off any monkeys that try to board during a Suez Canal transit?
How about being sent after the elusive ID10T that the chief needs right away?
I'd like to hear some of the other service gags run on the new guy. Let's hear em please!

They usually keep the buckets of steam in the POL storage next to the buckets of rotorwash.
I think the bottle of bulkhead remover would be with the blinker fluid and the chem light batteries.

We used to have the FNG pass around the EMHO report. Early Morning Hard On report. The responses by the ladies were epic. Gotta love a woman with a warped sense of humor.

As a young PFC at Cherry Point in 1965, I was sent to the Station's supply warehouse to retrieve 50' of flight line and a sky hook to use in cleaning the Tower's windows. They then told me I had to draw it from the Crash Crew facility - and so on, for a couple of hours. I found out it was the standard initiation for all new ATCs.

We would do this one to the cherries that said they wouldn't get sick on a jump flight from the pilots flying nap of the earth. One of us would pour an mre, preferrably something like beef stew, in a barf bag and put it in our cargo pocket. While flying, the guy would act like he was getting sick and then fake puke in the bag. The guy next to him would grab it and pour the contents into his mouth. Guaranteed to make the cherry throw up.
