Have you ever found yourself on mail buoy watch?

Ever been handed a kapok life vest and broom and told to fend off any monkeys that try to board during a Suez Canal transit?

How about being sent after the elusive ID10T that the chief needs right away?

I'd like to hear some of the other service gags run on the new guy. Let's hear em please!

BA-1100-N was one of my favorite forms.
We also sent one guy after a P.E.PSI, someone told him to check the break room.
A box of grid squares.
A tube of frequency grease.

Just a few of the tortures used on privates.

Slime light fluid, several feet of flight line, box of grid squares...god i love this stuff.

Had a WO1 in my unit end up all the way at Brigade S1 looking for grid squares..Can't take credit for that one..But it was funny as hell.

I keep mine in the garage next to my box of grid squares! I had a new driver for my 113 FLA try to balance our road wheels once- that was pretty good!

Most notable to me was within a week of checking into my unit. Among my list of random items to retreive was:
a grid square
a lightbulb repair kit
a spare barrel for an M-203.

I got halfway to where he said to get the grid square before realizing he was full of shit, turned around, and asked if he wanted me to get an ID-10T while I was at it. I had pulled the 1D-10T on a fellow student at MOS school. Told him that one of the instructors had a form for him haha.

I would have disappeared for an hour just to make a box of grid squares and return with it. World shattering response would be ensured...I presume.

At Field Station Berlin, a 24/7 intel site, the newbies would be sent around to collect the data for the EMHO report by asking each sub-system if they had any EMHOs to report. What's an EMHO? Early Morning Hard On
