Run, dodge, jump Inverted crawl ( AKA crab walk) Horizontal ladder. Bent leg sit ups 2 mile run In fatigues and boots BUT 1974

Running in boots became a major problem. I got a stress fracture and was treated at Fort Jackson in 1979. The physician said they were experiencing a huge number of stress fractures at Fort Jackson because the black boot had zero support for your weight. It was definitely not designed for running!

Yes, and it was all done in full uniform (spare the blouse) and with combat boots on. So many people had foot injuries like tendonitis, sores, and blisters. Running in Nike's is a lot easier on the feet and legs. But remember the idea was to do PT like you were in combat then. Also remember the two man ammo box run through the forest at Ft. Knox. Lots and lots of fun.

Yep. I remember! It was the horizontal ladder! We also did something like the crab walk.
