I came down with pancreatic cancer in 2004. I worked on the HPIR Illuminator for 42 weeks in school at Redstone Arsenal. Then 1 year as an instructor. In S. Korea at Camp Howard (K-16) for 1 year then at Ft Bliss (Tobin Wells) 1/7 ADA for 6 months as night shift commander. Trying to find out how many other were affected by the ionizing radiation. It's important for my VA compensation claim. Thank You, Rick Ash

Rick I worked on the equipment for 5 years and I don't know of any effects. Thank God. Hope you get some information that helps.

I worked on the IHPIR 84-88. No side effects as of yet. But, 53 years old, married 3 times and have no kids. Don't if I got cooked or not!

Thanks for the response SPC Taylor. I hope you didn't get "cooked" too. I was a Tracker 1 and Tracker 2 specialist. Had my own "van" back at the DSP!
