It took me 2 months to get paid for 2 weeks of training... I finally paid my GOV CC off myself so that I didn't have to take the hit. When I got a call from my commander about delinquency, I gave her hell bc once they got my on orders the pressure was off and the help with DTS evaporated. No support what so ever!

Why do you think the GOVCC is in your name? So when there is no money in the DTS fund code, you still have to pay it.

Sir, I think you worded it wrong. It should be who haven't had an issue with DTS. I don't know a person who hasn't had an issue with it.

I am a DTS level 10 (reviewer). Please feel free to PM me and I can help you (and anyone else struggling) in the future.

A sign hangs on my wall with my rules of DTS. Rule number 1 states "the only person who hates DTS more than you is me." The system is tricky, but with a little help I think we can get you where you are trying to go and get you paid when you are done.

They can't seem to figure out a voucher I filed 3 years ago. I have filed 3 amendments so far. They keep sending me notices that I overpaid on a debt from a voucher in 2013. On the original voucher they overpaid me by ~$1000. took it out of my drill pay. to date I have received 5 notices saying they overcharged me and owed me $$$. every notice has a different dollar amount they say I am owed.

Well if the voucher was approved and it was found to be an overpayment that is the AO (Approving Official) liability. The voucher should have gone through a few levels of reviews before it was deemed approved and paid out. The Approving official has pecuniary liability to the money as soon as He/she stamps approve. Did the voucher get returned to you at any point for correction?

nope. I'm just confused as to why they can't figure out how much money they overcharged me. 5 notices for 5 different dollar amounts. If they keep this up, they will repay me more than what they took back in the first place.

Was this a unit funded trip or was this funded by a HQ group from the army? If it's funded by your unit you can reach out to a higher organization that controls oversight on DTS to request to review the voucher to get the correct amount that should be paid. Once you have that you can take that to the AO, and have the amend the voucher and re-approve it.

I did Key Resolve in 2013. Filed my DTS and they overpaid me. took it back out of my drill pay. Last September I got a notice saying they had miscalculated the overpayment and they owed me money and I needed to file an amendment. No big deal. Then in November I get two notices within 5 minutes of each other saying the same thing, both had different amounts. Filed an amendment to the amendment. Yesterday I got two more notices, again within 5 minutes of each other and again for different amounts. So I get to file an amendment to the amendment to the amendment.

LTC (Join to see) Sir, it sounds like someone upstream from you is being audited. Since I have retired, I no longer have access to DTS, but I think I can help you figure out who to contact. Go into DTS and pull up the voucher in question. Do not click edit the voucher, click on view. If you look at the signature page, it should give you the name of the person who generated the amendment notification. You can then look that person up in Outlook and send them an e-mail asking for clarification.

Ya! I just did my first DTS authorization and signed it but it won't let me do the second authorization.
