Anyone ever try to get the badges on AKO?

I have a hard enough time keeping up with my password that changes every other day.

I think of the benefits RallyPoint has is it's separation from any sort of official back of any of the branches. I think integrating RallyPoint in something like AKO would do more harm then good because then RallyPoint would have to take on AKO's access standard. As a Veteran, I don't have access to AKO. I would hate to lose my access to this great community as well.

Just got the badge for Hunt I Level 3. Started working on Hunt II today. It was very frustrating at first, but, you have to have a sense of humor and a little creativity to get through it. Once you get the feel for it, it get's easier.

AKO is a great platform there is just too much on it, by that i mean too many connections to too many other platforms. the queries into all of your other records makes the entire system so increadbly slow it is something i shy away from. I also do not like their database structure, i think it is a bad choice for the amount of people on it.
to get a good feel for what im talking about try out AKOS, it is fast, sleek, and smooth! sams software, same platform, fewer users, less data, less connections.

with that said, if they change the backend of AKO i would be willing to spend more time on there and mess with the badges, but the way it is i wont. I messed with all that stuff when AKO was newer, back in 99 it was fast and fun, now it is uesfull but slow.

There are badges on AKO?

I honestly had no idea that there were badges. I'll take a look into those. Are they worth promotion points? If AKO and RallyPoint got a contract together, I think there would definitely be a lot more people on here and it would make this a more legitimate thing. I think it would be very beneficial to both sites.

AKO could be so much more.
