Buddy of mine was banned today for trying to sell his crossbow on facebook. How is it ok to sell a compound bow there but not a crossbow?

I don't have facebook, but some of the screen shots I've been sent /seen have been on some hot button topics so it sounded odd to me that they would ban someone for something so trivial.
