Anyone Know how to adopt MWD K9?

I see no one answered but I can tell you it is a long list. First the Trainer then the handler then First responders get first crack at them. My wife and I tried a few years back and never got the call. Then we moved and couldn't take on another dog. I used to have a contact though for a guy who had retired bomb dogs on the civilian side.
