I just went for one heck of a jog in the rain. Soaking wet. But I loved it! What's your preference?

Yes, if it is during the summer. I hate the cold! But with that said, something about the rain takes my mind off of jogging/ running and makes the actual exercise seem easier and go by faster. My mind is just occupied I guess.

I wa stationed in Fort Lewis for 4 years, if anyone has been stationed there, they know it rains there almost every day. Plus it's a COLD rain at that!

My favorite running weather - raining or when it's really muggy like it's about to pour down.

I enjoyed it when it was a downpour, but always hated that drizzle that seems to never end at Fort Lewis

Doing PT in the rain was some of the best PT. We would run, stop get in the mud, do some muscle failure , run again. By the time we were finished we would be wet, muddy and laughing our buts off . You get that hard workout feeling, not to mention that shower after was like heaven!

Look at it this way: you went on a mud run AND got paid for it. Life's great eh!

When I was not disabled, I loved running in the rain. It cleared my head

I fell in love with rain and water just because of the Corps and it's love of water but due to prolong exposure to dry places like Iraq and Southern Afghanistan. Anytime it would rain during the deployments, I would just stay outside and feel the rain.

Rain in Iraq caused MUD. Really nasty, sticky mud.

I love jogging in the rain. I think most people give up and quit when it comes down. I just press on. I feel like if you quit in the rain, you'll quit in life, but that's just me.

I love running in the run. I'll actually rearrange my training schedule if it's raining on a non-run day.

I'd be the first in the rain, and last out of the rain.

Leading by example.

Hey SGT (Join to see), you reminded me of my 1st duty station in Charleston, SC. Got there in July, kid you not, pop-up thunder shower every afternoon between 1-3 during summertime, guaranteed! Charleston is a GORGEOUS coastal city built on swamp land. A breeding Mosquito Mecca. After the showers you better have a spray or something. Else you'll be eaten ALIVE! Outdoor uniform inspections?? You're done!

SSG Joaquin Goicoechea, you know that's a great question. I heard the name but I never investigated further. Hyman's seafood is still downtown, one of my favorite restaurants

In Colorado the weather is so bi-polar we almost have no choice. If it rains or snows just keep running it'll change.
