I just went for one heck of a jog in the rain. Soaking wet. But I loved it! What's your preference?

I'm kind of forced to enjoy running in the rain being stationed at ft lewis it rains 80% of the time in the fall winter and spring. All you have to do is embrace the suck.

Best stress relief possible. Jog in a soft rain. I could do it daily if it rained in Texas more often.

I'm down for a good run, rain or shine. Just make sure there isn't a lot of lightning. I would have to become one of the fair-weather pilots.

As long as there is no lightning, I'm good for jogging in the rain any day.

I haven't been in the military long enough to hate the rain, so let it pour! Besides it shows discipline to voluntarily go do something in the worst weather conditions. Not like the Army closes when it's raining, snowing, drought conditions (all basic Wisconsin weather conditions in a single month). When it rains and I'm running, it's like God is helping me stay cool and hydrated. When it's windy He's forcing air into my lungs and pushing my back to keep me going further. Just a way to keep my butt moving with a purpose and not walk.

For some reason if given the right enthusiasm soldiers are a lot more motivated in the rain during pt.

I would if I could. My last tour of Afghanistan left me with little to no cartilage behind the knee cap to the femur. VA says I need a knee replacement, but I can't get one till I am 50 something. 2 knee replacements per lifetime per knee, there regulations on that.

The only jogging I do in the rain is to get out of the rain. I spend enough time running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, Don't need to do any extra jogging. As for exercise... I get enough of it pushing my luck, don't need to do anymore of it either.
