Hello fellow service members! I am NOT by nature a video-game player. But recently I bought my 10yo son an Xbox One. I am finding myself enjoying the stimulation of INTENSE GRAPHICS and ACTION (I don't approve of ultra-violence/profanity/etc). Anyone out there any good at particular games? HALO (Teams), Forza Racing? (I love SPEEDING in the EUCOM AOR!)

I am. I really like Halo and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. While both are FPS, neither is over-the-top violence or gore. And the CoD campaign had a rather engaging storyline, with Kevin Spacey in a starring role.

I absolutely love me some video games. I play a lot of Destiny but I have Halo. Not so into racing games and, well, being a Sailor my vocabulary isn't particularly clean all the time but sometimes I'm able to tone it down slightly. If you're looking for a gamer buddy add me ; ShallowWereWolf.

Just got a X-Box One, I've been playing on Playstation for years but the X-Box had a app I especially wanted so I got one. I've got all of the COD series.

I'll be changing over finally during the holidays since that is the earliest the mrs will let me, haha. But Destiny is a decentgame, though I have been lax on it lately as it more of a grinder after maxing out all characters.

Waiting on my Forza 6 Special Xbox One to come about the middle of this month. Forza has been a favorite game of mine since I got 4 on the 360. I also love the Need for Speeds that allow you to be the cop against the racers. As for shooting games, I love GTA and RDR for the open world sand box aspects. My favorite though will probably always be Battlefield. CoD is okay but I love the integration of vehicles and environmental destruction you get with Battlefield. That and sniping in the game is made enough of a challenge that you generally don't have to worry about someone sitting in a room corner and "360 no-scoping" you as you walk in. The fights are usually far more interesting and engaging in my opinion.
I play others as well but not as much. I am excited for Fallout 4 however with you saying you're not big on the violence that one probably isn't the best idea for you, at least assuming the gore is similar or better (worse?) than it was in New Vegas.
