I'm a full time care giver for my wife of 35 years. I do all house work, cooking, help getting her dressed, driving her to medical appointments and shopping.

For Vets who are caregivers? Yes, but not from the VA (if that was your specific question) and it depends on many criteria. For example, there my be Medicaid programs or state specific programs that you might be eligible for. Check out https://archrespite.org/caregiver-resources/how-do-i-get-paid-to-be-a-family-caregiver/ to give you some direction and avenues to explore.

IF the person you're being a caregiver for is also a veteran, then that's a much different story. If that's the case, in addition to the link above, contact your State's Veteran Affairs office and discuss with a counselor there.
