Are current military benefits substantial?

Being that the military makes up a small percent of our nation, do you feel as if the benefits we have are substantial? If not, why and what more or less would you recommend?

Medical benefits for my family are great. Comparing the services/cost of civilian plans compared to what my family recieves is awesome.
