Depends on what you mean by "Medical field".
You can reclass into MOS 68V with the correct college classes.
There are commissioning programs for PA, BSN, PT, MD, LMFT, and MEDO after OCS.

I had two E5s in my 68D AIT class. I believer they were previously E6, but had to take a reduction in rank to become a 68D.
