At first I thought it was a snap chat filter. But then I saw the earrings. Airmen is wearing at least two sets of earrings in each ear which is against regulation. I don't see an issue with piercings as long as they can't be seen or if they're worn off duty in civilian clothes. I have some piercings which I wear on off duty hours and my ncos don't have an issue as long as they can't be seen when I'm at work or in any army uniform. That's crazy that she's actively wearing them in her air force uniform

She is in her personal vehicle. She probably has a clicker sitting in her console and popped it in before or after duty. It is just so she could get likes on Instagram, more than likely.

That's still no excuse for being out of uniform and having the stupidity to post it online.

Never said it was an excuse. I just merely noted her location and assumed her intentions. Never said it was okay to do.

I do not see the need for pointless regulations. Like physical fitness and certain grooming standards in a non deplorable job

I went from a non-deployable job in AD USAF to a grunt in the Army. I don't care about what some Air Force pog does. I have not shaved in few days due to shortage of water and spell checker only works so well when you are packed in up armor hmmwv going down a goat trail.

So because someone is a pog you don't care how they represent the uniform?

Also, most everyone that has a septum piercing has it in while they're in uniform, they just flip it up into their nostrils so it can't be seen. She can't do that with hers, but with other ones they can

That doesn't make it right or acceptable. Piercings are unauthorized while in uniform, period!

PO1 John Miller - Not saying I agree with it at all, it's still the wrong answer. I've caught a few doing it before and had them take it out in front of me.

PO1 John Miller - Piercings (other than ears) are unauthorized period, regardless of whether they are in uniform or not. We just tolerate them when not in uniform or if they can't be seen. I cant' tell you how many times I've done an exam on a SM and found out they had unauthorized piercings.
