Are the western wildfires providing “seed” elements to the seemingly increased ferocity of the hail storms experienced across the plains?

Seems we are having increased ferocity and size of hail storms across the high plains (east of the Rockies). Are ash and embers borne aloft providing the nuclei for larger hail stone development?
