Are there any Army Reserve airborne units? If any of you guys are in it, how are the training and overall unit climate?

I am commissioning in the army reserves t and I already completed airborne school, I wanted to know if there any airborne reserve medical units? I know Fort Bragg has an active duty medical airborne unit (44th Medical Brigade).

The Reserve Psyops units are Airborne, not sure about anything outside of USACAPOC on the USAR side.

There are a few units with paid parachute positions in the USAR. However, like SFC (Join to see) stated, most are within USACAPOC. There are a few more like Rigger units (Quartermaster) and I know for a fact a Combat Camera Detachment somewhere in GA. Your best bet will be to contact USAR HQs and inquire with them.

To add to what MAJ Rivera already commented, there are multiple Rigger units within the Reserves. 1 in CA, 1 in TN, 1 in GA and 2 in NC (for now). And of course there's the Rigger schoolhouse in VA.

Same as any other Airborne unit in the Army. Lots of chest thumping and practice jumps, but no actual combat jumps to justify the ego ;o)
