Are there any aviation units at Fort Benning for a 15P?

Yup. I knew a guy 15T who was part of that unit. When the birds aren't being used for Ranger training support, they fly the general around the post.

Not at Ft Benning, but the best place to be a soldier at is the 3rd CAB-Combat Aviation Brigade. The 3rd ID has a really good reputation, and from what I know in Army Aviation some real solid Soldiers come from there. Why not go be a part of them? Its Savannah at Hunter Army Airfield, but its as close as you are going to get.

As mentioned they have the RTB there and they also have a MEDEVAC unit. Talk to your assignment manager.

Look for an active position in PA. Their aviation units are deployed more than any other units in the reserves.

Aviation unit or not...guarantee some of the ground units there will have slots for BAE/BAO. The aviation liason personnel. Although, those slots tend to be for more senior personnel such as SSG and above, but it's not impossible.

I'm just a national guardsmen so I'll be coming back to my state which is Indiana but then I'll be contracting as a ROTC cadet after a year maybe a little longer. LTC Paul Labrador

PVT Angelo Velez , in that case you might be able to go as an ROTC cadet. They alway save a certain amount of slots for ROTC and USMA.

Tell ya as a lower enlisted it's pretty great. As the gentlemen above stated. Take this opportunity to hit all these schools while you can. Elsewhere it won't be so easy as your unit would have to pay you to get to benning to go to schools. Also there is a really nice university near by that works great with us military. You can also work on your civilian ed. Think long term bro.
