I’m an E5, 19D Scout. 3 yrs Active
I’m doing everything I can to go Warrant and apply for WOFT. As far as the packet goes, I’m waiting for Ft Rucker to send back my Flight med packet. I have an LOR from a CW3 and my command. SIFT completed. Along with most of the application packet.
Anything helps.
Thank you all.

You might find this useful to try to find an Army aviation unit near wherever you are, maybe to go and speak with aviation warrants there, maybe ask for an orientation ride, possibly also...just another thought, of course...we have a family friend who'd been Army enlisted, he got into Army WOCS, went rotary wing after, got his bach in aviation from Embry Riddle, then Army released him, USCG picked him up, he'd finished his 20 yrs as a USCG O-3 rotary wing pilot...I've also heard, which he'd said, as have others on here, that Army WOCS is a quite rough program, apparently, from all I'd heard, in any event, just relating what I'd been told, honest, not to dissuade, merely to just relate that, honest....

I just saw you'd listed Ft Drum...the page on here has entries listing there, so, there'd seem to be Army aviation units nearby or right there, I gather, apparently, just do a text search, you'll see them listed on the page....

Enjoy...if you can elaborate on assocs, bach, grades, GPAs, STEM coursework with actual titles, I'd be glad to try to help point you in other directions as well, I have an interest in such career/educ threads as yours, obv, as you've likely gathered by now....

These might interest you, possibly...I'd known Army had rotary-wing flight test, I'd run across stuff on that, back when I'd been doing elec engrg (EE) before my total perm disability...most, I'd also noticed, tend to just think about straight flight, not the flight-test aspects, which can always lead to NASA, possibly, if you'd be inclined at all in that direction, just an idea you might care to think about, possibly....
