Are there any Chiropractors who are commissioned officers?

My OIC is a chiropractor in the civilian world but not in the Army as the skill is not recognized, per say. He has written white papers to several senators and representatives explaining why the military could benefit from this. so far, no movement

Not strictly speaking, however, there are DOs (Osteopathic Doctors). Military medicine is designed around mobility, and there is limited application to chiropractors down range (can't be cross utilized in different areas). Most of the DOs are trained in manipulations, whether or not they still perform them is totally at their discretion. Oddly, I do have a flight surgeon who was a chiropractor prior to going to med school (was also a mortician). Very interesting guy.

All of the doctors were officers when I was in, including chiropractors. The only civilian held jobs were support. Obviously a lot has changed.
