Are there any reasons why I should not wear the uniform (ASUs) to a Lodge or Chapter meeting?

Sorry about that, I had an entire paragraph that seemed to be deleted.
I'm a Freemason, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sometimes I'm on duty (during the day) when Lodge or Chapter meetings come around, and I have to go straight from work to Lodge or Chapter. As long as I'm not out of uniform, are there any rational reasons why I shouldn't wear my ASUs? I'd rather not do the ACUs/OCPs.
Note, I just had my two week AT, and actually did wear the ASUs on the days I had Lodge meetings. I wore my jeweled collar and apron over my uniform ONLY in Lodge (I'm Secretary of one Lodge, and Junior Deacon of another).
Also, in two weeks, I'm going to be installed as Worthy Patron of my OES chapter, and that's on a Saturday evening of Battle Assembly weekend. I'm going to ask the commander if he minds if I show up for Battle Assembly on the Saturday in ASUs, as I won't have time to change out of ACUs and drive to the installation ceremony.
UPDATE: I did wear my ASUs to Battle Assembly last weekend, and then to the Installation of my OES Chapter. I got lots of compliments. People in my Chapter who I never knew previously served approached me and thanked me for wearing my uniform.

In Major General Henry Knox Lodge of the 2nd District of Massachusetts Grand Lodge we actually encourage brothers to wear their respective service dress. We look at it as a double brotherhood.

My fraternal Brother, I don't see why you would not be able to wear your uniform to lodge (ASU or ACU). Lodge is usually formal, and won't serve alcohol.
Plus, our Brothers will understand if you are in uniform do to work. Every Brother I know would rather have you in lodge in work clothes than you not be in lodge at all.

Thanks....my mother Lodge would especially rather have me there in uniform, since I'm the Secretary.
