Are you interested in a "beer call" for innovators at Ft. Benning?

There is a small group of leaders at Fort Benning (CPTs and MAJs at this point, but open to anyone: innovation is not limited by rank) that have started gathering once a month over dinner and beer to talk about the profession of arms. The idea originated from the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum https://www.facebook.com/DefenseEntrepreneurs?fref=ts which has an annual conference in Chicago and smaller conferences across the country for innovative leaders in the military (and out) to gather and share ideas. DEF has started "Agora" meetings around the country, and we are starting to plan one at Benning. http://defenseentrepreneurs.org/about-def-agora/

If you are interested in being part of this group, let me know. Currently there are about 15 of us, but our plan is to eventually open it up to everyone and host it at a public venue.

A an Army, we have lost much of the innovation and mentorship that was developed over a couple of beers at the NCO or Officer Club, and our hope is to bring some of that tradition back.
