Are you numb to the Trump tweets?

President Trump's version of a Fireside chat is alarmingly like a Fourth of July sparkler. Entertaining, but without substance. Still, they can burn and are burning his enemies. Everytime they hit him with a zinger, he simply owns it thereby defusing it. President Trump, in a word, is something they haven't faced in a long time, a fighter. He doesn't dance away from a punch. He closes and counter punches. Personally, I find him and his tweets entertaining, like a good prizefight.

It’s a NY personality thing. I can take as long as his successes continue. The last guy had more gravitas, with little or no substance.

I like that he uses it to talk to the people. It shows that he's not completely out of touch with reality and it gives him a means to say things without a middle man twisting it. It's a sign that he's a real guy working for the people that put him in the oval office.

As long as it keeps making the other side come completely unglued, I'll keep not having a problem with him speaking what's on his mind.
