Army cap
On the top of the cap is a Velcro square.
What the heck is that for?
A Marine vet at the VFW suggested it is for the propeller ... but that can't be right!

I own a black version of this, but mine came with a grey-scale flag for the front.

We used to wear those back in the day.....Yeah 75th SF Group Regiment. My finger was the safety and I grew a thick beard. Had a really cool OTV that I ordered from Ranger Joes. Can still here Pacino saying "Hooah!". Those were the days. We held our own on that FOB!
