Ok. I've looked in 670-1 for placement of my medal bar (got that), but can't find anything on distance and placement of my badges(CIB,Pathfinder,AirAssault). The pic (22-7) shows where you can adjust medals to place badges, but only shows 2. Do I place all 3 side by side or CIB on top and Pathfinder and AASLT side by side?

The regulation allows you to adjust the miniature badges to accommodate mini medals. Page 259 of DA PAM 670-1 answers your question specifically.
(2) Dress miniature combat and special skill badges and miniature metal tab replicas are worn on all mess and evening mess uniforms. Personnel may wear up to five combat and special skill badges or miniature metal tab replicas (or a combination). However, personnel may only wear one combat or special skill badge from either group 1 or group 2. When two badges/tabs are worn, they are placed side by side immediately above the miniature medals. When three badges/tabs are worn, two are placed side by side immediately above the medals and the third is centered 1/4 inch above the other two badges/tabs. When four badges/tabs are worn, the third and fourth badges/tabs are centered side by side 1/4 inch above the other two badges/tabs. When five badges/tabs are worn, the fifth will be worn centered 1/4 inch above the third and fourth badges/tabs. Badges/tabs are worn in order of group precedence from top to bottom and the wearer’s right to left; on the male mess uniform, badges will not extend beyond the lapel. (See para 22–8 describes wear of miniature medals on the mess uniforms (see figs 22–7 and 22–8).)

LTC Jason Mackay Plan on enjoying it very much. Will be my last formal event before retirement. Wife is excited(she gets to go dress shopping...lol). I think we are both in agreement that we're going "full hooah" on this one and have a blast.

SFC Jeffrey Couch - sounds as if someone half read the old reg, you are limited to one group 1 or 2 badge (CIB/CAB/CMB), but not excluded from others from group 3-5 excluding marksmanship, drivers, and mechanics type badges for this uniform. Para 22-16 of the DA PAM 670-1

If Memory serves- you place the two most important, one above the other, above the Bar set and the third is placed on the pocket below the Ribbon Bar in place of your Qualification badges. If memory serves.

Which of the triple stacks is of the most importance to you, wear it closest to your heart or just triple stack them . Use the method AR 670-1 says for two medals with the CIB on top of the stack or just ask your first sergeant. Regs have changed since I have retired almost 10 yrs ago.
