Army National Guard to Active duty after a 5 year separation?

I was in the guard for 6 year and re-enlisting into active duty after being separated for over 5 year. I was wondering how thing have changed and what to expect. I’m also going back as an E3 since my E4 paper was never completed.

I am reclassing from 13F to 19K. I’m sooo glad I’m not the only one doing this lol I’m shipping out Feb 10th.

Honestly I haven’t gotten that far yet, I can’t even remember what I have on my dress blues. I’m assuming once I PCS someone will be able to get me set up.

You'll likely stick out drom the other recruits because of age but you'll be ahead of them in experience and maturity so everything will work out.
