I am married with 1 child and currently stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. I am reclassing to a 68P and was wondering if I’ll be in the barracks with other soldiers or will I live somewhere else?

Most likely, unless your orders are PCS orders, you will be in the Barracks with other MOS-T.

The army will only put you on PCS orders for school if the school is longer than a designated time period. 98% of reclass schools don’t meet that requirement. So yes even though you are not IET you are still in training and will most likely have orders cut for such and be in the barracks.

I believe it all depends on they way your orders read. I would talk to your training NCO and express your thoughts and see what is available to meet what you’re looking for.
