I pinned on my 5 on 1 Aug 2015 and I have asked many fellow NCO's when and how often I should receive and NCOER. I have been given various answers and worried about not having one yet. Am I due for one or should I have already had one? I am just not sure and would really like a sound answer or even the Reg for it. Any tips or ideas?

Also for Army Reserve it's annual unless you have a change of rater after 120 days. 90 days is for the active component. Hope this helps you a little. You should also be receiving quarterly counselings from your rater that are annotated on your support form which are supposed to guide you in meeting/exceeding your raters expectations of you. Unfortunately, in the reserves this does not happen very often. I'd have a talk with your rating chain as well to help you better understand the process. They are your leaders so make them lead.

Thank you SFC Parris. Good solid advice. I will say that I have noticed that the more that I ask questions, the more some SNCO's push back. Some will say things like "this is the reserve. Why are you taking this so seriously?" and it really pains me because no matter what the status, we are all soldiers and as so, we have to meet and maintain expectations. It has honestly left a bad taste in my mouth for the reserve component so I try and spend as much time on the active side as I can. Not to say that the active component doesn't have it's own issues but it has been a struggle to get what I need and want but I drive on and keep pushing until I get what I need.

That's all you can do. Keep pushing. I've been in the Reserves for nearly 14 years and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. There are good sides and bad to every situation and unit. You just have to take charge of your own career and not expect someone else to do it for you (not that you do now). Don't let one unit or one chain of command turn you away. Keep pushing. There are excellent leaders and mentors out there I promise.
