As prior service would I go to BCT(which I don't mind), and what to expect for everything else at meps?

I actually did some digging and found this:
In the Army, former members of other services (except the Marine Corps), are required to attend the four-week Warrior Transition Course at Fort Bliss, Texas. Former Soldiers and Marines who have a break in service of more than three years must also attend this course.

Private Ross, prior service basic ended March 2018 last I heard. I missed it by 2 months. Unless this WTC is something fairly new.

I keep hearing that I will have to attend the 6 week cycle at Ft Leonardwood since I'm Prior Service . Is this true cause according to AR 601-210 I don't have to.

Unfortunately, since you’ve been out for more than 3 years, you will have to return to basic training as far as I know. SFC (Join to see) will know more.

I left in 1974 and reenlisted in 1990. Didn't have to go to BCT but I did have to drop one pay grade. Came out in '99 as an E6.

And as stated already MEPS is exactly the same as when you went through before EXCEPT there is one difference I noticed. When the doc looked in my butt this time around she had a male spotter. So it was two sets of eyes looking into my ass this go round.

I joined in 2006 and was honorably discharged 2014. I re-enlisted last year and I was required to go back to BCT. I can almost with 100% certainty guarantee the same thing. It’s not so bad. Your rank will not allow you any prior service perks and you will sleep with the private’s and enjoy all the glory that is IET status. God speed and have fun. It’s way different the second go around.

When I was at BCT, our prior service (especially our prior service SGT) were given more perks and were treated with more respect.
As with most TRADOC institutions it is cadre dependent.

A friend of mine just re-enlisted after being out since ‘11 and has to do boot again.

I did in fact have to back thru basic after a break in service (8 years). It did me some good getting me back into shape.

Depends! If going into the Reserves/NG most likely not. If going Regular Army, there is a chance. Only a recruiter can really answer your question!!!!
