At what point do we ban people from Rally Point?

I understand that RP is an open forum to all veterans to express their opinion and share their knowledge. But there is a fine line between expressing your opinion and being blatantly disrespectful. We are all veterans in here and all deserve a level of respect regardless if we still serve or not. The level of ignorance displayed by some is just ridiculous.

Good point, 1SG (Join to see). If you think someone has crossed the line, be sure to flag them so the RallyPoint staff can look into the matter. Also, member admins may be able to help with getting the train back on the tracks.

It difficult to define offensive behavior. It's very easy for military SMs but not so much for retirees, vets and civilians. They have different rules/regs or none at all. Who is the judge of kicking someone off the island and what criteria should/will they use?

MAJ Charles Blake Sir, I am not sure I get whether you are agreeing or disagreeing with my post.

SSG (Join to see) - Well I liked it to show that I'm not disagreeing with it but as you said-it's all opinion which makes it difficult to judge. I think people should just be excellent to each other but someone else has a very different idea what that means.
I agree! One thing that I see often enough on Rallypoint is those of a superior rank denigrating and ridiculing those of a lesser rank who they do not necessarily agree with. I feel we are all equals on here regardless of rank held or once held and/or experience so I guess if you have thin skin maybe you should look elsewhere.

Thomas, I have seen the exact opposite as well here.
If your skin is too thin to take the heat, get out of the kitchen seems to be good advice.
