I found out yesterday, that the Aviation Enlisted Branch has a Facebook site, where they will post pertinent information such as career options, military assignments and more. Does anybody out there in RP think this is bad idea?

Just like everything else.... OPSEC first! However, with the way technology is today vs 10 year ago, this is probably the easiest and fastest way to get that information out there. Personally, if they wish to continue on this path by using social media, it needs to be a closed group that requires verification. They're are trolls out there. 15Ts are bad enough, but get a 11B in the site, everybody become a POG. That's my two cents.

I think I could be useful for disseminating information classified for public release but then that would be pretty useless
