Is there a campaign award for serving in CJTF- HOA, or Djbouti for that matter? I know people who got the deployment patches, but I wasn't sure if people got both. Thanks

I could be wrong but I believe it falls under the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (GWOT-EM), if not that then perhaps the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (AFEM).
The Iraq and Afghanistan Campaign Medals are done with, the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal is still available if you go to Iraq or Syria and meet the requirements.
Additionally as a Guardsmen you will be eligible for the Armed Forces Reserve Medal (AFRM) with "M" Device if you deploy. Depending on how long you're there you could also be eligible for the Overseas Service Ribbon (OSR). You could also potentially pick up the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (ARCAM) due to being a Guardsmen depending on how long you've been in. I would also look into seeing if you are eligible for the SSI-MOHC (Combat Patch) and Overseas Service Bar for that AO.
Ultimately whatever you end up receiving, the deployment should be good experience for you sir. Just remember to take care of your guys if they deserve it come End of Tour (EOT) awards time. Remember sir, rank does not equate award.

The reason I was asking is I am pursuing a transfer to the reserves to Civil Affairs as a 72D. I was curious about the campaign/expeditionary awards and what they were being awarded for. Being in the Guard, especially a small state, you can get kind of isolated and there aren't alot of opportunities for deployments. There are more opportunities in USAR and I have always wanted to serve in CA. I have been a public health professional for 16 years, including the COVID mission and I would like to do more.
As far as taking care of my people, that is a given. I have had my share of horrible bosses and when I am in charge the well being of my guys is one of my top priorities.
And awards should be earned, not given.
