Well, Dave, I don't know if you write this way all the time - spelling incorrect or misused or non-existing punctuation, but IF it is, and you are determined to get out of the service, I would admonish you to radically improve your English skills. If you are staying in, I would admonish you to do the same thing. Here on RallyPoint, from full-bird colonels on down, I've observed some of the most appalling misuse of the English language in any environment. Everything you will ever do depends almost entirely upon your ability to effectively communicate. Vastly overwhelming percentages of American citizens have absolutely no idea how critical that is. The trickle-down effects can been seen, heard, and/or read across the entire nation. Help change that dynamic.

Get good at CRTL+F, learn your signal flow, learn your way around a TM, and always blame the distant end.

Dave Blackburn Yes and no. Personally I’m not looking that far down the road yet. There are several jobs available but you need certifications (security plus exc...). If u spend your time working hard, the jobs will come to you. I’ve been offered 4 in 3 years.

Dave Blackburn I had to outwork my peers. I picked up at the 2.5 year mark. Most people started picking up at 3. Civilian education is everything.

SGT (Join to see) When you say civilian education is everything are you referring to coming in to the army with a college degree?
