Being Dual Military, Do I suppose to receive BAH in Basic And AIT?

If you are in basic and AIT you wouldn’t be considered dual military yet, so you wouldn’t draw BAH. If your spouse already is at their duty station, they may draw BAH depending on rank and if you are slotted you join them. Where I’m at even if you are married E1-E5 are in the Barracks if their spouse is not with them.

the way I understand it, your military spouse is getting BAH for her housing. Since your housing is provided during basic and AIT, you would not get BAH while you were at school. That's the way it worked when I was dual military.

Last I heard it was the same as I was in- ONLY one of you could draw full allowances.
