I join the military in 2004 never needed or asked for a secret cleared two deployments to IRAQ and discharged in 2010. Got back in 2018 MEPS did the paper work to get my a clearance but I deployed and got back in 2019 I meet the background investigator later in 2019. My orders said SCTY CL: NONE then changed to SCTY CL: SECRET; do that mean I have a secret clearance? I want to do recruiting and go warrant later in my career.

As a guy who worked PERSEC, ERBs are notoriously inaccurate. Talk to your S2. They will look you up in JPASS.

It could happen to you -
Where were you on the day of August the 11th 1947?
You were not born yet is NOT the correct answer!

Your BN S2, full-time staff, and the warrant officer assessment NCO that you will need to work with to put in a packet, can all answer this for you
