I was just sent a form from higher (1058-R),I was selected to go on Active Duty for a certain amount of time,I filled out the form and sent it in, my question is if anyone went through a similar process and how long would it take for it to go through.Is it considered AGR or a whole different subject?

The form is a request for some type of ADSW (Additional Duty Special Work). The orders can be anywhere from 30 days to 1 year. I'm assuming your MOS is 92A? It is not AGR. Now if you do a good job it MAY open some doors for you to go AGR or Technician.

It would appear that someone with your particular set of skills is required at a location. Depending on what it is for and where, you could be on active status for 1 week, 1 month, or even 1 year. As for how long for the papers to process, not long since they are basically requesting you. Just have your bags packed and ready and sitting by your door. Where ever it is, good luck and have fun.

The form means gibberish to me, does it say anything about being paid, counting as, etc as ADT(Active Duty, Training)? It just might mean that higher needs you to come in and do your job more than just M-Day status will allow
