boots, hats, choppers (mitts), space blanket, jumper cables, tow strap, first aid kit, sleeping bag.

Blankets (wubbies), orange tarp, pencil flares from a pilots survival kit. I have a PLB (Spot gen 3) & a solar battery charger w/batteries

I always had plenty of blankets in case the car broke down. In a pinch they could also be used for traction.

As an EMT, I have a first aid kit in the car. But for the all important 9-1-1 calls, I make sure I have a portable hot spot available, too, in case I m in an area where coverage may be thin. And as a ham radio operator, I have a hand held VHF/UHF radio, too, just in case.
