What was your most favorite unit you have been assigned too, and would you like to go back to it if it was possible?

This also applies to veterans as well.

9th Engineer Battalion (CBT) 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. Awesome unit, felt like a family. Not just the companies, but the entire battalion.

Now that I'm retired, I think every single unit I was ever in was the best!

I enjoyed my time in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Manpower & Reserve Affairs). It was a great opportunity, I work with great people, and I had great bosses. Yes I would go back in a heart beat.

My best/favorite TAD was to Navy Clinics United Kingdom, again great group of Sailors, and hell it's London!

From my Air Force life, I have no complaints about my time with the 439th Civil Engineering Squadron/Fire Protection. I truly was able to travel the world, Panama (don't get me started on us giving the PCZ back), Germany, and Desert Storm just to name a few.

327th IN REGT ... Best response to a call for surrender while surrounded and nearly cut off by Nazis in Bastogne during WWII... "Nuts!" Baffled Germans.
