Announce to the world you never want to deploy and cannot wait to live the Army. Karma will have you on a plane tomorrow...

would I need my ranger tab prior to going to RASP as an 11B30?

SSG (Join to see) I think as a SSG you would need a ranger tab and go to RASP 2 instead of RASP 1 with the E-1s-E5s

Not sure, call a recruiter. Either way, its a 62 day fix. SSG (Join to see)

The best way is if you contact you're career manager & volunteer to go with a deploying unit. You might even volunteer for one of the Army's SFABs (Security Force Assistance Brigades) that are being stood up to deploy on as an advisory basis to Foreign militaries. It used to be guaranteed that they would deploy at some point, but I'm not sure of their deployment cycles now- but the Army still has these missions in CENTCOM & AFRICOM, and I believe eventually each Combatant Command will have an SFAB assigned to support them.

Thank you. I am currently waiting on the list of available duty stations to be sent out via email. I guess the best option at this point is to talk with my branch manager and see what is available. I would do SFAB, but I need KD time first. Thanks again
