Quick question , rolling out to ntc in a week was told initially I was on white cell because I’m getting meb boarded with a permanent profile , now they’re saying I’m going with torch and advon group , my question is because I’m with the group does that mean I’m going in to the box?

Torch and ADVON isn't a section of people who are at NTC, it's a term for when you are traveling. ADVON and Torch are the first groups to leave, tail and trail are the last. White cell is the group that you will be in while you're at NTC. White cell is basically the detail group. Each unit has to give up a bunch of personnel for white cell to do things like clean bathrooms, empty trash, clean tents, and sort the recycling out of the dumpsters. Whether you will be on white cell or in the box is up to your command, but they have to provide someone and usually the profiles and MEBs are the ones who get put on it

Did you ask your leadership what that means? I mean...no one on here can answer why your leadership changed around when you were leaving to go to NTC. Literally we can't answer this because we're not involved with their manning decisions.

You need to ask them why they moved you. Going on Torch or ADVON means you are just going ahead of main body. What they do with you when you get there is up to them.

Probably because white cell needs to be established sometime around the time torch arrives. JS
