Quick question , rolling out to ntc in a week was told initially I was on white cell because I’m getting meb boarded with a permanent profile , now they’re saying I’m going with torch and advon group , my question is because I’m with the group does that mean I’m going in to the box?

Torch and ADVON isn't a section of people who are at NTC, it's a term for when you are traveling. ADVON and Torch are the first groups to leave, tail and trail are the last. White cell is the group that you will be in while you're at NTC. White cell is basically the detail group. Each unit has to give up a bunch of personnel for white cell to do things like clean bathrooms, empty trash, clean tents, and sort the recycling out of the dumpsters. Whether you will be on white cell or in the box is up to your command, but they have to provide someone and usually the profiles and MEBs are the ones who get put on it

There are three different things here.
White Cell: Not going into the box. Provides administrative support in many different ways.
ADVON: Advance Party which goes ahead of the main bodies to help get things set up for Main Body arrival
Torch: Goes even before the rest of ADVON.
Torch is part of ADVON, but not all ADVON is torch. Torch/ADVON is PURELY about when you fly. It has NOTHING to do with White cell or "box" status.
Only your Chain of Command can answer questions about what you will be doing when you get there. That being said, most of the time, units prefer to have their "deployment team" going through rotations (even if not scheduled to deploy). If you are a known (or assumed) loss, they TEND to put you in thw white cell. But again.... it is up to the Chain of Command.
