I’m here at AIT and I have this drill sergeant that absolutely hates everything me and another person in our platoon does the first 2 weeks we did get off on the wrong hand but I just wasn’t use to the freedom coming fresh out of basic I told her that and I’ve been staying under the radar for a while but she just looks for any and everything to chow us out about or give us a counseling so today we had a random room expectation and our rooms got trashed me and the guy she hates also so what she did was thrower everything out our drawers and brought the females to our room and told them that this is how we live and we’re dirty so she took our phones and a couple more guys I gave her a phone but she said I had more than one phone so she made me open my locker and searched through my bags in my locked locker with no permission and found a old phone I was wrong for not turning it in but everyone is telling me to go talk to my 1Sgt because it wasn’t right how I was the only one that got searched and she was never given permission to search any of my personal belongings she just decided to and made me open my locker should I talk to my first sergeant about this? Or is this just something I should just deal with 8 more weeks because I think she is trying to get me put out and I can’t take it

Some punctuation would have been nice. This is by far the longest run on sentence I have ever read.

there's been a lot of constructive responses.

So here's mine.

Suck it up. You're breaking the rules and your peers are ratting you our.

'cant take it any longer' well brother, you signed a contract and just because you don't want to do AIT which is EASY compared to basic training and you can't seem to follow the rules and guidelines you deserve what you got. Part of being a Soldier is doing the right thing, and mental toughness. Time to toughen up.

Good for that DS for making an example of you.

Now get your shit together and quit making excuses for why you're getting punished. You did wrong. Own up to it and move on. Fix your shit, do the right thing.
Good thing is there iS plenty of time for you to get on the right track. Lord knows when I was a lower enlisted I wasn't squared away all the time, but I'm thankful I had good NCOs to help guide me on the right path and it came from tough love many times. Thankfully I listened. And if it weren't from those NCOs I wouldn't have been a good NCO or be where I am today in my officer career.

If you pantywaists cant take 2 months of coddling, air conditioning, and 3 square meals you have no business in boot camp. When I was in, boot was only 8 weeks, but they CRAMMED hell into all 8 weeks. We slept in ww2 barracks (1 common room for the entire company), ate crap cooked by halfwits, and more often than not marched till our feet bled and then were told to pop the blisters, NOT report to the medics. Our drill sergeants 'cared' for us by kicking our butts day in and day out. Fortunately, I was in after it was made illegal for a DS to hit a boot, or I woulda been in the hospital most of basic. (I was a royal pita). Again, if you cant handle being singled out for a little lovin by your DS, ESPECIALLY since you seem to deserve it, then get the HECK out of the service.

The same thing applies to AIT. MY AIT was another 8 weeks of hell in a box with a group of slopeheaded bastards who couldnt tie their own shoes. And the DS's were, if anything, twice as bad as the boot camp ones. SUCK IT UP recruit.

I would say that you have more of a problem with spelling and sentence structure.

Just quit now. You're not even close to understanding the military. You're a 10%er or as we say in the Corps, a complete SHITBIRD!! Go tell your 1st Sgt you want to quit and get out. If you're lucky you'll get out with a general discharge for the good of the service and the others in your class will let you keep your teeth..

Wait till you get to your unit and someone goes to the hospital for huffing compressed air. You singed your privacy away at MEPS.

It's not hard, show up before formation in the right place, the right uniform with the right stuff, and your life will be easy.

She doesn't need your permission to search your lockers. If she suspects you have contraband in them she can search them any time she wants. And - surprise! - she was right!

Wind your neck in, take what's coming to you, and do what you're told from now on.

Yes please go tell your 1SG. He absolutely deserves to know how much you suck at following orders. I'm assuming you havent gotten your phones back which would mean your using someone else's or bought a new one. Congrats, your gonna piss off your DS again and be "targeted" once again. He's most likely going to 1) tell her and let her do what she will, or 2) tell her and let her do what she will, and then run paperwork on you. Idk why it seems the military gets entitled kids that somehow remain entitled past bootcamp, its must be getting too soft. But you need to realize something, you joined the military, the military did not join you. You are their property more or less until you fulfill your contract. You have rights, but you very much appear to need to research them and understand what exactly your rights are. If your in student status (which you are) your rights and freedoms are even slimmer. When you screw up your rights are even slimmer. While your living in barracks your living in a government owned building and can be at any time searched because the military reserves the right to know what you do and do not have in their building. Most Marines arent even allowed a toaster despite alot the buildings being concrete. Suck it up, accept life isnt meant to be easy until you've got some time in and earned respect, and just do what your told or implied to do.

You should go see your 1sgt. Absolutely. Your friends are hoping you do, so they can laugh at what happens. Do it now!
