Yes, it's totally possible.
Whether you qualify for that or not, you'll find out when you meet your guidance counselor at the MEPS.

Do you have any idea on what the qualifications for that would be?

Eric Pace yes, but it's irrelevant. You'll be told what you qualify for based on your test scores, education, history, qualifications, training sears available, and needs of the Army.

I’ve already been qualified and passed all the testing. Had a job reservation for 88m. My recruiter said it wasn’t possible to get a duty station before my ship date to basic. SFC (Join to see)

The only Non prior service getting station of choice right now are the “ Army Civilian Aquired Skills “ program applicants ( ACASP ). if you don’t meet the criteria for said program then you won’t get it in your contract.

SFC, I see here you mentioned “Duty of choice” is this correct still? My wife is trying to join as a 68W in the ACASP program, and her recruiter only mentioned she would know her duty station when signing her contract, that that she gets to choose.

I've been on recruiting duty for a little over 2 years now and I have never seen this happen.
