Your command has a policy that dictates the response to covid. Your commander is untimately responsible for enforcing that.

What's the policy at your duty station about pending covid tests? I know at JBLM if you get tested and are pending results, you have to stay isolated until you get the results if you go into the hospital testing site. An at home test, I'm not even sure.
Is the SM pending official test results?

Policy is to isolate until results are finalized. Would the commander need write a memo or can it be verbalize/ sent via text or email?

SGT (Join to see) - An order from a commander is an order, whether communicated verbal or written, whether direct or through chain of command/NCO channel.
I think you have your tests backwards.
The antigen is the rapid test (80% accurate with 20% false negative), and the PCR (almost 100% accurate) takes an hour in a lab, which could be waiting on a days-long backlog to get that hour.

The Command is responsible to create and enforce policies in regards to COVID response and working during COVID. Are they following their policies?
