I was Discharged from the Air Force on 22 May 2018 with a RE CODE of 2B. I was discharged for a minor infraction and received a "General Discharge under Honorable Conditions". I was told that I could RE- Enlist into other branches such as ARMY or MARINE with a Waiver, but now I'm getting different answers. Can some one tell me if it is possible for me to get into the ARMY with this RE CODE? Please only answer if you know for sure, I thank you in advance for any help I can get.

Depending on what kind of discharge it is as long as you never got in trouble for something absurd major, they shouldn't have a problem enlisting you

The answers that you want will come from a Recruiter. Have you already talked to a Recruiter?

I have called a recruiter nearest to me and he searched the RE-CODE and immediately said, "no, im sorry we don't take 2B" But I had a friend of mine who also got discharged with the same RE-Code as me and is getting a waiver. Do you think I should have told him more about my DD214?
