Can anybody fill me in on White Sands? Just reenlisted with that as my next duty station of choice.

I was station there from 1987 to 1991 it was easy duty. I worked with a lot of civilians that was great people. There was not many military there most of them was officers. The post was very small but Fort Bliss is close. I hope this helps you and good luck.

I didn't know you could get stationed there as air defense thought they just tested shit out there

I was stationed there in 99-01, at that time it was a black hole. There and no where else. I had to change my MOS ti escape.
