Can anyone here advise me on what to do about my VA service-connected claim? 5 years, 2 months now with no action other than more forms.

I suggest seeing a Disabled Vetersns representative. They can help you look into your claim. They usually have an office located within the Regional Office. They helped me when I needed it

I spent years going nowhere on my own. I contacted a VFW Veteran Service Officer, and he helped me with my claim.
