You're questioning being allowed to have more than 90 days to prepare for your retest???

I think it's best to wait a couple days before a retest to get ready. Sort of like studying. Relax for a few months, cram a few nights before, and you should be good to go.

Multiple failures can lead to a separation yes. Why your leadership waited until January to counsel you on something that happened in November blows my mind though. Either way, give it your best.

So they did counsel and flag me after the first one in November. I was just wondering if regulations get thrown out if second APFT exceeds the 90 days SGT Ben Keen

PFC (Join to see) - They gave you extra time to prepare for the APFT which should be an advantage to you. Why would that invalidate a separation for a second failure? Just pass the test and you don't have to find out.

Regulations don’t go out the window because of technicalities. Don’t fail, don’t get separated. The 90 days is to allow you 2 diags and a record.PFC (Join to see)
