Can I receive ARCAM's retroactively? If so, to whom should I speak to get the ball rolling on getting the award?

I've been looking back in my records and I have noticed that I have never received an ARCAM for my nine years of service. Is there a way to remedy this and can I receive ARCAM's retroactively? Who should I speak with to get the ball rolling on getting the awards if I am able to receive them.

Yes, they are administratively awarded, typically by commander’s memo. Get together your RPAM showing that you served through those years, and talk to your Readiness NCO/Unit Administrator.

Your RNCO has probably done a bunch of them before, but if they aren't familiar here is a useful link. If you need any further help, just message me, back when I was an RNCO and later 1SG, I helped process somewhere in the hundreds of these over the years.

All you need is a memo from you commander indicating that a records review was conducted and determined that you are eligible for the award. I have such a memo indicating that I was awarded 3 of them.
