i made up a crazy lie that i had prior mental issues before joining to get out of BCT.. i know stupid right? BIGGEST MOST DUMBEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.. I know someone will call me a quitter and its okay too i remind myself everyday that i had an opportunity of a life time and i blew it being too deep into my emotions at the time.. now i regret it deeply and it pains me so bad.. my dd12 states my separation code is JFW , Reentry code is 3 , and my discharge is uncharacterized.. Can anyone please tell me the process i can take to get myself back in? i want to redeem honor within myself and to my family

Probably not gonna happen. You lied about having mental health issues, why would the military risk letting you back in under the assumption that you have these issues? If you tell them you lied, you 100% aren’t getting back in.

First off - I definitely wouldn't have posted this on a public forum that's easily accessible by anyone...
RE Code 3: May normally reenlist but a waiver will probably be required.
JFW - Erroneous enlistment; Medical condition disqualifying for military service, with no medical waiver approved.
Uncharacterized discharges of military enlisted persons result under the following circumstances: (1) entry-level separation; (2) void enlistment or induction; or (3) dropping from the rolls.
So was the JFW for erroneous enlistment or medical condition disqualifying? It almost seems like you won't be able to enlist again, especially when you admitted to lying but also based on these codes.
Did you ask a recruiter yet?

SGM (Join to see) - I just took the first Google result on that one - but the JFW makes it seem like there's no waiver.
Either way - I don't think they're getting back in. Also - the fact they posted on a public forum that they lied on their initial enlistment isn't the best thing to do either.
