I want to transfer to AD, can I switch my MOS if I be fortunate enough to be transferred? Or do i have to finish the rest of my contract as my MOS even after i got transferred?
I don’t know if this was asked here before and if it did, I apologize for asking again.

You don't transfer into the AD, you are separated from the USAR and accessed into the Regular Army, unless you're referring to AGR. Whole new enlistment, whole new contract. You'll be subject to whatever the current prior service accession rules are at that time.

The process starts with talking to an AD recruiter, starting a DD 368 requesting separation from the Reserves to go to another component (AD). If that is approved, you will have 180 days to get an AD contract and orders, provide those to the Reserves to get discharged, and go AD, in whatever MOS was available for prior service when you contracted.
If the 368 is not approved, you wait until your ETS and talk to an AD recruiter again.

PVT Miguel Alonzo,
SGM Jeff Mccloud and SFC Jason Boyd are both 100% correct.
I'd like to add a little detail that Soldiers from the Reserve have often been missing. If you received a bonus for your MOS in the USAR and you're volunteering yourself to access into the Regular Army; "BAD NEWS" financially for you. Once your DD 368 requesting separation from the Reserves go through, HQ G1 will stop paying the bonus, and you will need to reimburse most of the 50% you already collected.
This is just a FYI.

Your career counselor might be able to answer that question, I would reach out to them and your NCO chain to let them know your intentions to get the best guidance.

It is probably one of the top 3 questions that gets asked on a weekly basis. If you search on here you will find dozens of threads that show you similar questions and similar responses. You will need to address your questions with your career counselor and with an AD recruiter to understand everything that will happen and what requirements are there. You will most likely end up fulfilling your prior commitment before you can cross over to the active component. Current manpower requirements may alter the needs of the different components of the Army but speaking with career counselors and recruiters will help you know what the current process and current pulse is.
